Bin Song is an assistant professor of philosophy and religion, teaching ancient Chinese philosophies, western philosophies, and world religions at Washington College, MD. He possesses a PhD of Philosophy (Nankai University, 2009), and a PhD of Religious Studies (Boston University, 2018).
While being dedicated to constructive philosophical work through comparative thinking and writing, Bin Song is particularly interested in exploring new philosophical practices so as to enrich people’s spiritual and intellectual life. In his leisure, Bin enjoys the company of family and friends, nature walks, swimming, and the Ru (Confucian) meditative practice of quiet-sitting and Taiji martial arts.
