I’m an associate professor at the University of Richmond. I teach in the Jepson School of Leadership Studies, an interdisciplinary school that focuses on issues of power, authority, and ethical decision-making. My research is in political philosophy and applied ethics, particularly the ethics of immigration. I teach classes on international ethics, justice, critical thinking, the philosophy of freedom, and I’m designing a course on philosophy as a way of life.
