Jim Thompson

Jim Thompson teaches philosophy and religion at Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina. His primary interests are ethics and the history of thought. He has worked to develop courses that incorporate ethical theory, moral psychology, and critical social thought to help students develop habits of self-reflection on the world and their place in it. He current research involves the philosophy and politics of education. He is married to Dr. Julie Meadows, who is also a scholar of religion and philosophy. They live with their son Jonathan in Greenville, South Carolina.
