Alli Krile Thornton

I'm an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the University of South Alabama. I work primarily in metaphysics, philosophy of medicine, and the philosophy of religion. These interests intersect in various ways in both my teaching, where I am working to further develop my department's philosophy and medicine minor, and in research, where I investigate issues of personal identity and persistence from an animalist perspective. For fun, I love to cook (but not do dishes! so there is tension in my kitchen), run, and get outside as much as possible. I'm new to southern Alabama, so lately I've especially enjoyed just exploring what the Gulf Coast has to offer.
