Caleb Cohoe is Associate Professor of Philosophy at Metropolitan State University of Denver. He received his doctorate in Philosophy from Princeton University, where he was part of the Program in Classical Philosophy. He has ongoing research projects on Aristotle’s theory of understanding, Aristotle’s views on change and perfect activity, and Augustine’s engagement with ancient Greek and Roman philosophy. He has used elements from philosophy as a way of life in teaching a number of courses, including Introduction to Ethics, the History of Ancient Philosophy, Philosophy of Religion, and an Honors course on The Ancient Art of Living. He also has pedagogical interests in incorporating games and roleplaying activities into philosophy classes.
