Wilson specializes in the history of ethics and moral psychology, especially Kant and the British Moralists. Recent publications have appeared in Kantian Review, History of Philosophy Quarterly, Pacific Philosophical Quarterly, and the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy. Recent teaching has included a graduate seminar on Joseph Butler, an undergraduate seminar on philosophy and the good life, and a course on human nature and morality during the early Modern period.
