Wes Siscoe
Postdoctoral Fellow
I am currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Cologne's Center for Contemporary Epistemology and the Kantian Tradition and an FWF Research Fellow at the University of Graz. Before that, I was a Dean's Postdoctoral Fellow at Florida State University, and I received my PhD in philosophy from the University of Arizona. My research has appeared in Mind, Philosophical Studies, Philosopher’s Imprint, and the Australasian Journal of Philosophy, amongst other venues. I am also a pedagogy contributor at the Blog of the APA, the Daily Nous, PEA Soup, and the Philosopher’s Cocoon. Before graduate school, I was a full-time mathematics instructor with Teach for America. Drawing on this training, I have served as the Mellon Course Design Coordinator for the Philosophy as a Way of Life Project, managing a team of 10+ staff members that designed such philosophy courses for 13 colleges and universities, including Wesleyan University, Loyola Chicago, Boise State University, and Florida State University.
