Willie is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Toronto. As a researcher he specializes in ancient Greek philosophy, with particular interests in Plato and ancient Greek metaphysics. As an educator he's always been inspired by the conception of philosophy as a way of life, and through all his teaching he encourages his students to appreciate the relevance and applicability of philosophy to their own lives and to the world around them. This has led him to develop a range of different classes over the years, from historical courses like "Stoicism, Scepticism, & Epicureanism: Philosophies of Life", to applied courses like "Philosophy & Emerging Technologies", to just plain fun courses like "'Can good people like bad music?' and other questions".
