Prof. Cutter joined the Notre Dame Philosophy Department in 2016, after spending a year at New York University as a Bersoff Faculty Fellow in the Center for Mind, Brain, and Consciousness. His research is primarily in the philosophy of mind and metaphysics, with a focus on the mind-body problem, the nature of perception, and the moral significance of consciousness.
