I am an assistant professor of philosophy at King's College, Pennsylvania. I came to philosophy through the inspiration of a teacher who showed me the love of wisdom as a spiritual exercise. It was my privilege to participate in the NEH Summer Institute during the summer of 2018 and develop my understanding of this tradition.

My research interests are in ancient philosophy, specifically Plato and the Platonic tradition, and I teach undergraduate courses on ancient and medieval philosophy, mythology and philosophy, theories of love and friendship, and philosophical anthropology.
