Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Hope College
I am an assistant professor of philosophy at Hope College. In my research I primarily focus on topics in philosophy of religion and in philosophy of mind, psychology, and psychiatry. I love teaching, and in particular I am passionate about Community-Engaged pedagogies and have taught a couple of Community-Engaged courses. In addition to teaching at Hope, I also teach at Handlon Prison and previously taught at Notre Dame, Westville Prison, and at South Bend's Center for the Homeless. Outside of philosophy, I am deeply involved in my church and in various community organizations - and I am also a visual artist.
